June Update

June 31st 2010

It's been a busy few months for the team as we prepare for the coming months competitions. We spent a week in Feb out in Lake Elsinore, CA working on putting together the basics for this year's freefly routine. We then spent what was supposed to be another 2 week training camp back out there in April. However due to the 'Ash Cloud' we ended up having to spend a month there as we couldn't get flights home! Happy days as it meant more training (all though much less money)!

We have Andy Newell back on board as our coach this year and due to an unfortunate injury to our team camera man (get well soon Godders!!) he will now also be standing in on camera.

We also spent a week in Elsinore training hard for our compulsory rounds with Team Sol Cal Converge (US National champions and World Record holders for the most points scored in a compulsory round). This made a huge difference to our points average and we picked up a wealth of useful knowledge and techniques.

We are continuing to train as much as possible back home in the UK as well as coaching B category team for this years UK Nationals.
